Volcanic eruption in Indonesia prompts Jetstar to cancel flights

An eruption of Mount Ruang volcano situated 150 km away from Indonesia's Denpasar city prompted Australian airline Jetstar Airways Pty. Ltd. to cancel its flights to and from Indonesia, Xinhua reported.

Jetstar said that it has canceled several flights in and out of Indonesia's Bali Island "as the ash cloud from the Mount Raung eruption in Indonesia drifts toward Denpasar International Airport." The airline has grounded nine flights, including its Singapore- Denpasar route.
