Endurance Specialty Holdings, Montpelier Re gain shareholder approval for merger

The merger of Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. and Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. is inching closer towards completion as both firms have received key shareholder approvals, Artemis.bm reported.

Montpelier Re's common shareholders have voted in favor of the proposed merger with Endurance's subsidiary Millhill Holdings Ltd. Regulatory approvals are still needed for merger between the two firms, reported Artemis.bm.
