Genex Services L.L.C. has acquired Integrated Care Management, a workers compensation and disability case management firm, the Wayne, Pennsylvania-based provider of managed care services said Tuesday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With Alpharetta, Georgia-based Integrated Care Management’s 100 case managers joining the team, Genex will have more than 1,700 employee case managers, according to the statement.

The deal also extends Genex’s reach in the more than 20 states where Integrated Care Management does business, “enabling more workers compensation payers and risk managers to access its specialized managed care services,” the statement says.

“(Integrated Care Management) has grown significantly over the past four years, and we’re very selective about the quality of case managers that we hire,” Integrated Care Management’s CEO Kevin Hill said in the statement.

“Genex and (Integrated Care Management) employees place a high value on building long-term customer relationships,” CEO and President of Genex Peter Madeja said in the statement. “We share the same commitment to controlling medical costs and disability durations, supporting the recovery of injured and disabled workers and delivering superior claim outcomes.”

Both companies serve self-insured employers and workers comp insurers.
