Financial firms relying on cyber insurance instead of defense: Study
Posted On: Jun. 24, 2015 12:00 AM CSTA research by security firm Websense Inc. has said that the financial services sector is at risk of relying on cyber insurance in fighting against attacks instead of ensuring that their security measures are strong enough, IT PRO reported.
Insurance is important but should be part of companies' plans, and not the lone focus, a senior analyst at WebSense said.
The study also said that the financial services industry suffered 300% more attacks in 2014 than any other sector, reports IT PRO.
