Tanker carrying $4 million in fuel missing
Posted On: Jun. 15, 2015 12:00 AM CSTMalaysian fuel tanker MT Orkim Harmony carrying almost 7.5 million liters of RON95 petrol has gone missing off the country's Pulau Aur Island, reported AsiaOne.
The fuel in the tanker is worth about 15 million Malaysian ringgits ($4 million). A Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency official said that the tanker was sailing from Malacca to Kuantan when it disappeared. Orkim Harmony is operated by Orkim Ship Management Sdn. Bhd. Orkim Ship Management's Orkim Victory oil tanker was recently hijacked in the same region.
