Task force established for insurance claims from capsized ship

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission has set up an emergency task force to oversee insurance claims that are likely to arise from the recent capsizing of a ship carrying 458 people in the country's Yangtze River, reported Xinhua.

The regulator said that insurers must respond efficiently to the emergency and facilitate compensation.

China's ministry of transport said that 12 of the 458 people have been rescued so far.
