XL Group appoints Eugene McQuade chairman

Eugene McQuade has been named as the new chairman of Dublin-based XL Group P.L.C., The Royal Gazette reports.

Mr. McQuade was former CEO of U.S.-based Citibank National Association.

Mr. McQuade will succeed Robert Glauber who will remain on XL Group's board and will chair the Risk and Finance Committee.
