Workers comp insurer names senior vice president

Workers compensation insurer Employers Holdings Inc. has promoted Lori A. Brown to senior vice president and deputy general counsel, the company said Monday.

Ms. Brown, based in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, is the primary attorney for employment and executive compensation law for Reno, Nevada-based Employers, the insurer said in a statement.

She also is assistant corporate secretary for Employers Holdings and corporate secretary for Employers' subsidiaries.

Ms. Brown previously was vice president and deputy general counsel at Employers since 2007, the company said.
