India second-most targeted country for social media scams in 2014: Report

The report said that India registered 6% of global social media scams during the period. The report said that 170 ransomware attacks were reported every day in in the country in 2014. "India reported the third highest ransomware in Asia, with an average of more than seven attacks every hour," said Symantec.
