London broker partners with Brazilian network

London-based Cooper Gay Swett and Crawford has entered a partnership with Sao Paolo, Brazil-based broker network GC do Brasil, the wholesale and reinsurance broker said Monday.

Cooper Gay said in a statement that the partnership would give GC do Brasil's 67 retail broker members wider access to local and global markets.

The partnership is part of Cooper Gay's Latin America growth strategy, it said.

GC do Brasil currently places about 500 million Brazilian Reales ($164.4 million) of commercial and personal lines premium volume annually.
