Ex-Willis catastrophe bond chief joins rival

Reinsurance brokerage TigerRisk Partners L.L.C. named Tony Ursano as its president Friday.

Mr. Ursano, most recently was CEO of Willis Capital Markets and Advisory. Willis yesterday named co-CEOs to replace him.

“With his many years of insurance industry and investment banking experience, key industry relationships and outstanding reputation, we know Tony can deliver on these goals,” Rod Fox, CEO of TigerRisk, said in the statement.
