New CEO tapped for Kooperativa pojistovna

Regina Ovesny-Straka has been tapped to be the new chief executive of Czech insurer Kooperativa pojistovna a.s., which is owned by Austria-based Vienna Insurance Group A.G., reported The Slovak Spectator.

Ms. Ovesny-Straka will replace Juraj Lelkes, who will now be VIG's special advisor for Slovakia and Romania, said Gunter Geyer, supervisory board chairman of VIG. "Kooperativa continues to be concentrated on growth," said Ms. Ovesny-Straka.
