Lloyd's opens office in Beijing

John Nelson, chairman of Lloyd's, said Lloyd's expects the China platform to double the current business written in 2015.
Lloyd's has appointed Chen Songlin as general manager of the Beijing branch.
Although developed nations constitute majority of Lloyd's business, "we see China as the single largest long term growth opportunity for Lloyd's," said Mr. Nelson.
