Flood losses hit fruit growers in India

Fruit growers in Kashmir valley in India's Jammu & Kashmir state have forecast the horticulture losses from 2014 floods and bad weather at about 28.9 billion Indian rupees ($460.3 million), reported Rising Kashmir.

The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers-Cum-Dealers Union has been seeking compensation from the government.
