Reinsurance market poised for growth in China

Huge growth prospects are seen for China's reinsurance market, Hexun.com reported citing China Enterprise News.

There are expectations that the market will be supported by an increasing demand and new policies that could result in huge capital inflows.

An increase in the number of large scale projects, including nuclear power and high-speed rail, would increase the demand for reinsurance, said an official.

Overseas firms, including Allianz S.E., are planning to seek permission to start reinsurance operations in China, Hexun.com reports.
