Crops damaged by hailstorm in India

Hailstorm and strong winds have affected Wheat crop spread over 700 acres in India's Punjab state, The Tribune reported.

Villages including Durala, Bitha, Doba and Duhkeri have been hit.

More than 150 acres of cultivated land in Durala village has been affected, a villager said.

Bitha village farmers said that the weather event has damaged over 150 acres.
