BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Former Aon Benfield Bermuda managing director Neville Ching will lead the Bermuda operations of reinsurance brokerage Capsicum Reinsurance Brokers L.L.P.

London-based Capsicum Re on Monday announced that Mr. Ching was named to the newly created position of managing partner to lead Capsicum Re’s retro division and run its new operation in Bermuda. Mr. Ching will be based in Hamilton, Bermuda, a spokeswoman said.

Mr. Ching was most recently managing director for the retro division at Aon Benfield Bermuda, Capsicum Re said. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Aon P.L.C. in London and Towers Watson & Co., according to the statement.

Capsicum Re is a joint venture between Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Grahame Chilton, the former CEO of Benfield Group P.L.C., and Rupert Swallow, former chief operating officer at Benfield at the time it was acquired by Aon.

“Our Bermuda operation enables us to provide our customers with a better global service and access to the U.S. markets, and Neville, with over 20 years’ industry experience and an in-depth understanding of the key markets, is ideally suited to lead this business,” Mr. Swallow, managing partner of Capsicum Re, said in the statement.
