Schinnerer names senior professional liability leaders

Managing general underwriter Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. Inc. has named Jill Tellez and Kevin Collins to senior professional liability posts.

Ms. Tellez was appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president and professional liability leader, Schinnerer said Monday in a statement.

Based at the firm’s headquarters in Chevy Chase, Maryland, Ms. Tellez will oversee Schinnerer’s professional liability programs, which include products for real estate professionals, architects, engineers, construction consultants, and general contractors, Schinnerer said.

According to a spokeswoman for Schinnerer, Ms. Tellez was most recently a litigation support specialist at Technology Matters Inc.

Schinnerer also said it named Chevy Chase-based Kevin Collins to the newly formed role of senior vice president of professional liability, reporting to Ms. Tellez. He will focus on business development, professional liability underwriting and product development, according to the statement.

Mr. Collins was previously senior vice president and leader of architects and engineers for Schinnerer, the spokeswoman said.
