China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said that Chrysler Group L.L.C. would recall 14,213 of its Wrangler vehicles in the country over fire risks, Xinhua reported.

The wiring for the vehicles' vanity mirror lights might rust, resulting in short circuits and fires, Chrysler said.

The recall includes vehicles manufactured between June 28, 2010 and July 21, 2014.

The recall began March 2.

Chrysler said that it would repair the faulty components of the vehicles for free.
