David Reed has been appointed CEO of The Channel Managing Agency Ltd., the Lloyd’s of London managing agency owned by Paris-based reinsurer Scor S.E. that manages multiline syndicate 2015.

Mr. Reed will take up the post on April 3 and succeed Richard Harris, who has decided to leave the managing agency on that date, Scor said Tuesday in a statement.

Mr. Reed currently is CEO of Scor Underwriting Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Scor that provides capital to Lloyd’s syndicates, and has held a number of other senior positions at Lloyd’s companies.

Scor also said that Paul Koslover would take up a role as interim chief risk officer on April 3, replacing John Byrne, who has decided to leave the managing agency on that date.

Mr. Koslover is a partner at Marcuson Consulting Ltd. and currently is performing the role of senior actuary at Channel Managing Agency on a short-term assignment.

A permanent appointment to the CRO role will be made in due course, Scor said.

“We are very proud of what has been achieved during the first four years of the Channel 2015 venture,” Victor Peignet, CEO of Scor Global P&C S.E., said in the statement.

“The second phase of Channel 2015 is starting out on the right track,” he added.
