Willis names North America casualty broking chief

Willis North America Inc. on Tuesday announced the appointment of Joe Peiser as head of casualty broking.

In this newly formed position, New York-based Mr. Peiser is responsible for the direction of the firm's casualty insurance products, including workers compensation, primary and excess casualty, product recall and international casualty products, Willis North America said in a statement. He will report to Matt Keeping, chief broking officer of Willis North America, according to the statement.

Since September 2014, Mr. Peiser has served as an insurance market adviser with Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, Willis North America said.

Prior, Mr. Peiser was president at Wright Specialty Insurance Agency L.L.C., a division of Brown & Brown Inc., according to the statement.
