Former Aon exec to head Lockton's U.S. property insurance practice

Lockton Cos. L.L.C. has hired former Aon P.L.C. executive Michael Andler as executive vice president and head of its U.S. property insurance practice.

Mr. Andler replaces Jim Rubel, who has joined Lockton's property team, a spokesman for the Kansas City, Missouri-based broker said.

Based in New York, Mr. Andler is charged with strengthening Lockton's products, coordinating with the firm's teams globally on insurance market access and advising on property insurance market trends, according to the statement released Monday.

Mr. Andler was most recently managing director and chief operating officer of the U.S. property practice at Aon.

Lumelleau said in the statement. “He bolsters a Lockton property team that offers clients an unmatched combination of expertise and analytics.”
