2014 among worst years for Asian aviation industry

Four other airline incidents claimed 600 lives in 2014. These incidents include the disappearance of Malaysian Airline System Bhd. flight MH370, the downing of Malaysian Airline flight MH17 and the crash of a TransAsia Airways Corp. aircraft . "We believe that 2015 will see increased pressure on airlines from insurers," said Martin Consulting L.L.C. chief executive Mark D. Martin.
