Russian oil pipeline leaks into Black Sea

An oil spill has been reported in the Black Sea near Russia's Tuapse port following a leak in a major Russian oil pipeline.

The pipeline belongs to the country's oil transport firm JSC Transneft, reported Reuters. Sergei Proskurin, an official at the port, said the size of the spill was not clear and emergency services have been trying to contain it. Stormy weather was delaying containment efforts, Mr. Proskurin said.
