Cyber threat becoming serious security challenge in MENA region: Expert

Lutfi Zakhour, vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., has said that the "cyber threat is evolving into one of the most serious economic and national security challenges" in the Middle East and North Africa region, reports Asia Insurance Review.

The most sophisticated cyber attacks and espionage campaigns have targeted the Middle East region in recent times. The attacks "will evolve in terms of complexity and potential scalability," another Booz Allen official said.
