Greece: Flights, local transport disrupted by labor unions' strike
Posted On: Nov. 28, 2014 12:00 AM CSTA strike by Greece's General Confederation of Greek Workers and Civil Servants' Confederation has led to the cancellation of hundreds of flights, while also affecting local transport in the country, reports Reuters.
GSEE and ADEDY called the strike in response to austerity measures by International Monetary Fund lenders and the European Union. Public offices were closed and all local and international flights were cancelled in the country.
