South Korea: Nuclear power plant hit by fire
Posted On: Nov. 21, 2014 12:00 AM CSTSouth Korea's Kori nuclear power plant has been hit by a fire in its nuclear fuel storage facilities, BusinessKorea reports.
The fire went unnoticed by workers for over an hour and is reported to have occurred due to overheating of a waste dryer. The fire burned the dryer, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. said. The fire follows a temporary closure in August due to heavy rains.
