Air bag problem may hit Takata's future business

Japanese automotive parts maker Takata Corp. is currently facing trouble because of problems related to potentially faulty car air bags and this could affect future business, Reuters reports.

An ex-Takata executive said the firm "is going to see a real hit" in future business from U.S. carmakers and Germany's BMW Group. In addition, Takata's financial numbers could be hit if an existing car recall in the United States is expanded to include further 5.3 million cars that need fixing, Reuters reported.
