U.K.: Shipping industry being monitored over Ebola scare

The U.K.'s Maritime and Coastguard Agency has been monitoring incoming vessels from West African ports over Ebola fears, The Guardian reports.

An "atmosphere of fear" has been reported in the maritime industry. MCA said if anyone onboard is suspected of having Ebola, the ship would have to be diverted to a port designated by marine authorities. The U.K.'s Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Ltd. has said that there have been cases of crews refusing to enter ports of Ebola-affected countries.
