Sierra Leone: Ebola halting operations at once booming businesses

The Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone is affecting the country's once-booming businesses hard, Forbes reports.

After its civil war in 2002, Sierra Leone has attracted billions of dollars in overseas investments in manufacturing, agriculture and mining, among others sectors. The country's economy, however, is now being hit as several businesses have halted operations and many are working at a fraction of their capacity. Ebola has also caused delays in many planned projects and investments.
