U.A.E.: Number of takaful insurers increases to 10
Posted On: Sep. 30, 2014 12:00 AM CSTThe insurance regulator of the United Arab Emirates has said that the number of takaful insurers in the region has increased to 10, Argaam.com reported.
The combined premium volume totaled about 2.8 billion U.A.E. dirhams ($762.3 million).
The regulator said that it will hold meetings to discuss strategies for the development of Islamic insurance industry in the U.A.E. market.
