Japan: Earthquakes rock Fukushima near nuclear plants
Posted On: Sep. 25, 2014 12:00 AM CSTJapan's Fukushima region has been hit by two earthquakes centered just near the coast of Fukushima Prefecture, reports The Weather Channel.
The nuclear power plants that were damaged by the March 2011 quake are situated at Fukushima, but no damage or problems have been reported at the plants. The first quake was of magnitude 5.0, followed by another 5.2-magnitude one, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
