Brazil: iPhone production halts due to Foxconn factory strike

A strike at a Brazilian factory belonging to Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd., which trades as Foxconn Technology Group, has halted production of Apple iPhones, reports Macworld citing 9to5Mac.

Foxconn is Apple Inc.'s manufacturing partner for iPhones. Around 3,500 employees are striking over pay and work policy issues. Foxconn is already finding it difficult to keep up with the pre-orders received.
