BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Philip Fasano has been named to the newly created post of executive vice president and chief information officer at American International Group Inc., the insurer said Monday.

In his new role, Mr. Fasano will be responsible for oversight of the company's global information technology operations, including reviewing and updating technology systems and platforms, along with data management and security.

Mr. Fasano, who will be based in New York, will assume his new post in October, reporting to AIG President and CEO Peter D. Hancock.

Mr. Fasano previously served as executive vice president and CIO at Kaiser Permanente. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Mr. Fasano in 2005 founded Capital Sourcing Group Inc., a company focused on providing strategic advice and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
