6.6-magnitude earthquake hits central Chile

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake has hit central Chile, RTT News reported.

The quake caused blackouts and shook buildings in Santiago. Media also reported that copper producer Codelco’s Andina mine was not affected and was operating normally.
