Towers Watson names Eric Speer global head of risk consulting, software

Towers Watson & Co. has named Eric Speer as global head of risk consulting and software.

The appointment is effective Sept. 1.

Mr. Speer will succeed Rory O’Brien who is leaving the company, the New York-based consultant said Tuesday in a statement.

Previously, Mr. Speer was manager of Towers Watson’s eastern U.S. division and has been with the consultant for 25 years.

He is based in Stamford, Connecticut.
