China: McDonald's meat supplier recalls Shanghai plant's products

McDonald's Corp.'s outlets in China have pulled beef, pork and chicken items off their menu after U.S.-based supplier OSI Group L.L.C. recalled products made by its Shanghai plant, Bloomberg reported.

OSI Group has allegedly been repackaging old meat as new.

Michael B. Griffiths, qualitative research director at TNS China Co., said "this recall may spoil any remaining goodwill consumers have for fast-food restaurants."
