Eurasia Insurance could pay up to $3.2 million in MH17 flight disaster claims

The recent Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight disaster could see JSC Eurasia Insurance Co. pay up to $3.2 million in claims, reports TengriNews.

Eurasia Insurance's Shakir Iminov said the company "reinsured the risks of the company that insured" the plane, adding that payments to the families of the 298 deceased passengers could reach $100,000 per victim.

Mr. Iminov told TengriNews that the payments will start once the investigation is complete, but he did not name the other insurer.
