USI acquires New Jersey specialty agency

USI Insurance Services L.L.C. announced that it has acquired Toms River, New Jersey-based insurance agency BHB Insurance Services L.L.C.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

BHB is best known for its community associations practice group and also provides other commercial, personal property and casualty products and services, the Valhalla, New York-based broker USI said in a statement Monday.

BHB's office and its employees will remain in Toms River, New Jersey and continue serving their clients, according to the statement.

“This acquisition enables us to combine our local technical expertise with USI's national network of resources, and offer an expanded set of measurable and actionable solutions that will enhance our clients' bottom-line success,” Graham Blundell, co-partner of BHB Insurance Services, said in the statement.
