China's environment watchdog blacklists four companies

China's environment regulator has "blacklisted" four organizations after they failed to correct violations discovered in an earlier inspection, Xinhua reported.

Harbin Linen Textile Co. failed to stop production and pay a fine after a project was found to be operating without approval. Anshan Steel Group Co. Chemical General Factory emitted lots of pollutants, while a copper company in Guangxi failed to correct its management of hazardous waste.
