China: Coal mine accident kills 22
Posted On: Jun. 5, 2014 12:00 AM CSTA "gas incident" at the Yanshitai Coal Mine in China's Wansheng district left 22 people dead, the Chongqing Municipal Administration of Coal Mine Safety said.
Twenty-eight miners had been working down the shaft at the time of the accident, Xinhua reported. The mine is owned and operated by Nantong Mining Co. Ltd.
