U.K.: Increased compensation for communities affected by fracking

The increased compensation is an attempt to stave off opposition to the technique, reports The Guardian. The British Geological Survey is expected to disclose in a study the presence of large shale gas reserves in Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, The Guardian reported.
