Willis taps Alexis Faber to lead management liability practice

Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has named Alexis Faber as the practice leader of FINEX North America, Willis’ management liability specialty practice group, the broker said Friday.

In her new role, Ms. Faber will be responsible for the strategic direction of the practice, leading a team of more than 100 management liability and executive risks professionals and working closely with Willis’ global industry and product leaders to deliver insurance solutions to clients, the London-based broker said in a statement.

Previously, she was chief operating officer of Willis North America Inc.’s specialties group and practice leader of Willis’ risk control and claims advocacy group, according to the statement.

“Her strong track record of success with Willis North America’s Specialty Practices, combined with her broad financial, operational and leadership experience, will help us execute on our strategy in North America,” Roland Avery, Willis’ global leader of financial institutions, professional indemnity and directors and officers, said in the statement.

Ms. Faber is based in Memphis, Tenn.
