China: Lenovo recalls 117,732 laptop batteries
Posted On: Mar. 28, 2014 12:00 AM CSTLenovo Group Ltd. is recalling 117,732 ThinkPad laptops with faulty batteries sold in China, Xinhua reported.
The batteries could malfunction and turn very hot, putting the safety of users at risk, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said. Lenovo will replace the batteries at no cost to the affected users.
