Iceland: Hekla volcano close to eruption

Pll Einarsson, geophysicist at the University of Iceland, has warned that the Hekla volcano "could erupt soon," IceNews reported.

Researchers found a bulging surface on the volcano's northern side that indicates magma from under the volcano is rising, the newswire said. During the past 1,200 years, the volcano has erupted more than 20 times.
