Germany: Lufthansa to lose millions in strike

German airport strike action has prompted Deutsche Lufthansa A.G. to cancel 600 flights, Deutsche Welle reported.

"The Lufthansa group alone will suffer millions in losses," Lufthansa board member Bettina Volkens said. The strike action by trade union Ver.di is expected to affect airports in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart.
