RIMS names Amber Levy as membership director

Amber Levy will join the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. as its new director of membership and constituent programs, effective immediately, the society said Thursday.

Prior to joining RIMS, Ms. Levy was the national director of hotel sales for the Northeast region for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, where she spearheaded business development and strategic account management activities, RIMS said in a statement.

“The strength of this society relies upon our vast network of risk professionals whose varying experiences contribute to the overall value of RIMS' membership,” RIMS Executive Director Mary Roth said in the statement. “Amber has a profound understanding of the member association dynamic, and has had tremendous success identifying new opportunities to engage, grow and retain members. We look forward to tapping into Amber's expertise to enhance the member experience.”
