Vietnam Airlines signs insurance contracts worth $4 billion
Posted On: Jan. 20, 2014 12:00 AM CSTVietnam Airlines has entered into insurance contracts with some insurers to insure its fleet and other potential risks, Vietnamese news website Chinhphu.vn reported.
The insurers include Bao Viet Holdings JSC, PetroVietnam Insurance Corp. and Vietnam National Aviation Insurance Co., and the total insured value is up to $4 billion.
The contracts will offer coverage against risks related to liability and other operations-related risks, among others.
