China: Alibaba, Ping An launch online property insurance venture

Zhong An Online Property Insurance Co., Ltd., whose majority stakeholders are Alibaba, China Ping An and Tencent, has been registered, reports Jrj.com.

According to the website, the venture’s date of registration was Oct. 9 and it has a registered capital of 10 million Chinese yuan ($1.6 million).
