Bangladesh: Fire damages three units at garment factory
Posted On: Oct. 9, 2013 12:00 AM CSTA fire broke out in a garment factory, Aswad Composite Mills Ltd., in Gazipur, Bangladesh, damaging three units, a police inspector said.
The fire killed at least nine people, Bloomberg reported.
The incident adds pressure on the country as it struggles to restore its image after the April 2013 Rana Plaza disaster, which killed more than 1,100 people.
